Kenneth Blackmer

Kenneth Charles Blackmer, SFC U.S. Army Retired passed away on March 13th, 2023 at the age of 70. 

He is survived by his wife Connie and two children, Steve and Sherrill.  Ken served 20 years as a trumpet player in the Army before retiring as a Sergeant First Class in 1992.  Ken loved animals, fishing, woodworking, and was a devoted friend, brother, uncle, husband, father, and Christian.  Ken's warmth and sense of humor will be missed by the many lives he touched. 

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be offered to the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church Building Fund.  334 Division St;  Vassar, MI 48768

The family would like to invite you to Hanlin Funeral Home- Millington, on Monday, March 20th, 2023, for a time of visiting from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a graveside service at Millington Twp. Cemetery beginning at 1:00 p.m.
