Kathryn Narsted

Mrs. Kathryn (Ward) Narsted of Millington, Michigan passed away early Sunday morning September 4, 2022, at the age of 75.

Kathryn was the daughter of Evert & Evelyn (Thornton) Ward and was born on October 29, 1946, in Flint, Mi. Kathryn married John N. Narsted on June 18, 1966, and they celebrated 41 years of marriage before his passing in August of 2007. She worked at Superfood/Nash-Finch Grocery Warehouse for 30 some years.  Kathryn loved gardening and spending her time with family and friends. Before her husband John’s passing both John and Kathryn spent most of the weekends in the summer on their boat which John had appropriately named Kathy’s Choice. Kathy will be missed dearly.

Kathryn leaves a son and daughter in-law Tim (Toni) Narsted and a grandson Timmy (Ashley) Narsted. One great granddaughter Nova. Two sisters Sharon Palaghe and Colleen Gooddar. As well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Kathryn is preceded by her husband John and three brothers, Bob, Dale, and Wade.

Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the burial to follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.
