Mrs. Karen Abrams a loving, caring, and kind wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025; she was 62.
Karen was born on August 15, 1962, in Port Huron, Michigan, to David & Constance (née Werner) Corry. She was raised alongside her siblings Theresa, Candace, Kelly, Scott, Michelle, and attended St. Clair Community College. In her working years she managed a salon and a sign store. She liked to spend her time outdoors boating and in the sun. She also enjoyed reading and quilting. Above all, she loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Karen will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Abrams; sons, Matthew Kaatz, and Stephen Kaatz; daughter, Nicole and son-in-law, Scot Crandall; grandchildren: Brooks Kaatz, Mabel Kaatz, Charleston Crisp, Lila Crandall; Neveah Abrams, and Brealynn Abrams; mother, Constance Thrasher; sisters: Theresa Krubel of Kenosha, WI, Candace (James) Douglass of Hutto, Texas, and Kelly Bennett of Chesterfield, MI; brother, Scott Corry of Port Huron, MI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Corry; sister, Michelle Hall; and mother-in-law, Colletta Gene Abrams.
