Jeffrey ILL

Jeffrey A. (Jeff) ILL of Millington, Michigan passed from our world into God’s Kingdom Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the age of 56.

Jeff was the son of Victor & Ruth (Walther) ILL and was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 18, 1965. Growing up in Millington, Jeff was a graduate of Millington High School,  class of 1983. On February 13, 1999, Jeff married Beth Ann Johnston and together they have celebrated 23 years of marriage. Jeff was a very positive, caring and giving person. If help was needed, he was the first one there. His witty sense of humor was contagious and would keep everyone laughing and smiling. Jeff was the third generation to dedicate his life to working his family’s dairy farm. He loved working the farm fields with his tractor, hunting, fishing, camping and playing a good game of Euchre or Uno with his family. Jeff was a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington.

Jeff leaves his wife Beth, and three daughters: Kaitlyn, and twins Hannah & Hailey. Jeff also leaves his parents: Victor & Ruth ILL, 5- sisters, Christine (Clark) Huntey, Patty Vondoloski, Karen (Jeff) Piper, Robin (Matt) Kozuch, & Renee (Brent) Dukate, and several nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.

The ILL family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Monday for a brief time at the church from 1:00 pm until the services begin. Funeral services for Jeff will be on Monday August 8, 2022, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church beginning at 2 :00 pm with the burial to follow at the Pinegrove Cemetery in Arbela Township. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to the family. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the ILL family with arrangements for Jeff.
