Jeffrey F. Cypher

Mr. Jeffrey F. Cypher, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024.

He was born on April 4, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, to William “Bill” & Arlene Cypher (née Lasley). He was raised in Millington alongside his siblings Harvey and Sharon and graduated from Millington High School with the Class of 1966. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. On April 2, 1971, he married the love-of-his-life, Merry McPherson. Together they raised their children, shared countless memories, and celebrated 53 years of marriage. Jeffrey retired from Delphi in Saginaw in 2007 after 41 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all, Jeffrey loved his family and being a grandfather to his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

He is forever loved by his wife, Merry; children, Jared (Michelle) Cypher, and Hilary (Noah) Daly; grandchildren: Logan Cypher, Ryan Cypher, and Satya Daly; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Arlene; brother, Harvey Cypher; and sister, Sharon Sawyer.

A Celebration of Jeffrey’s Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hospice House of Shiawassee. The family extends their sincere thanks to the nurses & staff of Hospice House of Shiawassee for their care of Jeffrey.
