Janine (Syring) Metro

Mrs. Janine Marie (Syring) Metro of Millington, MI passed away early Friday morning October 28, 2022, at the age of 85.

Janine was born on January 25, 1937, in Bay City, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Christian & Alberta Syring. Janine has been a Millington resident for many years. On April 11, 1953, she married Michael (Mickey) Metro and together they celebrated 47 years of marriage together before Mickey passed away on April 12, 2000. Janine loved music and going out dancing with friends.  Janine leaves behind her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Friends are welcome to attend a graveside burial service on Tuesday November 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm. To pay respects at the Millington Township Cemetery.  A celebration of Janine’s life will be held later date and time to be determined Memorial gifts of Remembrance can be directed to a charity of your choice.  Hanlin Funeral Home of Millington has been assisting with the arrangements.
