James Keene

James A. Keene passed away on November 19, 2021. He was 69.

James was born on August 18, 1952, to the late Walter and Angeline Keene. He graduated from Millington High School in 1970. James married Susan (Isham) on July 24, 1971. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage. They had three children together. He served in the United State Army. Then worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring. After retirement he worked at Kroger on the third shift, Walmart for 8 years, Loper Corporation, and Wolverine Human Services for 3 and a half years. He loved taking his grandkids sledding in the winter and he loved it so much he would be known to just go sledding for fun himself.  Most importantly though James loved nothing more than spending time with his family. James was a very selfless man and he will forever be loved and missed by so many.

James is forever loved by wife, Susan. Three children; Jamie Keene, Jeremy (Cathy) Keene, Rory Keene. His seven grandchildren; Gabrielle, Shayla, Jonathon, Brayden, Paisley, Breanna, and Christina. Great-Granddaughter Lillian. Four sisters; Ethel (Jerry) Hall, Sue (Sherman) LeVan, Virgina (Richard) Moore, Heather (John) Badcock. As well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his three brothers Carroll, Russell, and Walter Jr., and a niece Annette LeVan.

The family has honored James' wish and cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial Gathering to celebrate Jim's life on June 19, 2022 at the Arbela Twp. Hall.
