Irene (Patterson) Bishop

Mrs. Irene (Patterson) Bishop of Birch Run, Michigan, passed from our world into God’s Kingdom, Friday afternoon September 29, 2023, at the age of 100.

Irene was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 3, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Raymond & Ada (Baumon) Patterson.  Irene was married to Russell Bishop and Russell has preceded her in death. Irene is also preceded in death by a sister, Betty, and many other family members. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Ss. Francis and Clare Catholic Parish in Birch Run, Michigan. Private burial to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan. The family will receive visitors at church  on Thursday beginning at 10:00 am.
