Howard C. Maurer

Howard's family will welcome visitors to Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024. Funeral services for Howard will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church (4941 Center St, Millington, MI 48746) on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM; additional visitation at church from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Rev. Jim Bruner will preside. Afterward, Howard will receive military honors and be laid to rest in Newton-Compau Cemetery.

Howard Maurer, Millington went home peacefully to His Savior on September 13, 2024, at 92 years old. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He farmed all his life with his wife, Millie of 66 years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, dancing, playing horseshoe, playing euchre and spending time with his family. 

Howard is survived by his loving wife, Millie, 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, a brother & his wife, a sister, a sister-in-law, special friends, nieces and nephews & extended family. 

He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, sister, brother & spouses, & special friends.
