Harold (Fuzzy) Heit

Mr. Harold LeRoy (Fuzzy) Heit of Millington, Michigan passed away early Saturday evening November 24, 2018, Harold was 81.

Harold was born in Flint, Michigan on July 17, 1937 and was the son of the late Joseph and Gladys (Broughton) Heit.  In 1957 Harold married Miss Beverly Stephens and they have celebrated 61 years of marriage. For 52 years Harold (Fuzzy) owned and operated Millington Drywall Company of which his sons now operate the business. Fuzzy loved to hunt, play golf, but most of all; loved spending time with his family. He has been a longtime (40 years plus) member of the Millington Lions Club.

Harold leaves his family to cherish his memory’s. Wife; Beverly. Four children; Terry Barton (Tom Licavoli), Cathy (Larry) Beagle, Dan (Kim) Heit, and Dave (Becky) Heit. He leaves also 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a sister Joanne Flynn, sister in-law Marlene Heit, and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his parents Harold is also preceded in death by a brother Robert, and a brother in-law John Flynn

The Heit family will receive friends on Thursday November 29, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Vassar (5880 W. Frankenmuth Rd. Vassar, MI 48768) from 11:00 am until services begin. The life celebration services for Harold (Fuzzy); will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday at the church.  The family has honored Harold’s wishes and cremation has taken place.
