Gregory L. Jewell

Mr. Gregory “Greg” Lee Jewell, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his home.

Greg was born in Flint, Michigan, on November 23, 1963, to Russell & Patricia (Keeler) Jewell. He grew up alongside siblings and graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1983. Greg was an avid bicyclist and runner. Often, he would bike up to 30 miles a day. Further, Greg loved animals, especially his cats. He had been a resident of the Oak Grove subdivision for over 20 years.

Greg is survived by his son, Ryan Moore; mother, Patricia Jewell; brother, Roger (Kimberley) Jewell; sister, Sheila Jewell; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Jewell; brothers, Russell Jewell, Jr., and Daniel Jewell.

A gathering to celebrate Greg’s life will held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Arbela Township Hall.
