Gloria (Bader) Harris

Mrs. Gloria J. (Bader) Harris of Vassar, Michigan passed away Friday morning August 9, 2019 at the age of 73, surrounded by family.

Gloria was the daughter of the late Harold and Dolores (Pastch) Bader and was born on August 22, 1945 in Caro, Michigan and grew up in the Caro, Michigan area graduating from Caro High School. Gloria married Frank Harris Sr January 22, 1966. She worked for 20 years at the Uncle Rays IGA Store in Vassar in the bakery.  She also drove school bus for the Vassar Public School system.  She spent many successful years selling Home Interiors and later owned and operated Mother and Daughter's Hidden Talent.

Gloria leaves her family to cherish her memory. Son Frank (Mindi) Harris, Christine Knapp, Teeia (Roger) Gordon.  Five Grandchildren Nicholas Wilson (Melissa Goboly), Bristol Wilson (Christopher Bancroft), Zander Harris, Aliyah Gordon and Mya Gordon, her great-grandsons Mykel Wilson, Brody Wilson and Kohen Bancroft.  She leaves also her siblings, Nancy Bader-Harris (Ron), Ruth Ann German, Kathy Bader-Cooper (Virgil), Marylou Bader-Finn (Patrick), Roger Bader, Kaylynn Bader-DuBois (Leads) and brother Roger Bader. Gloria leaves many nieces, nephews including Jackie and Kevin Jobson,  extended family and friends. Besides her parents Gloria is also preceded in death by her Husband Frank Harris Sr.  brothers Richard Bader and Harold Bader Jr., and parents Dolores G. Bader and Harold Bader Sr.

Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, Michigan on Tuesday August 13, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and for a brief time on Wednesday August 14, 2019 at the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Vassar, Michigan from 10: 00 am until the services begin. Funeral Services for Gloria will be held at the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Vassar, Michigan on Wednesday August 14, 2019 at 11:00 am.  The burial will follow at the Millington Township Cemetery. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
