Gerald (Jerry) Petkoff

Gerald A. (Jerry) Petkoff of Clifford, Michigan, formerly of the Millington area, passed away suddenly Friday June 24, 2022, at the age of 57.

Gerald was born on June 21, 1965, in Flint, Michigan and was the son of the late Ronald and Paula (McAllister) Petkoff.  Jerry loved riding his Harley, being with family and friends, and had a love for music.  Jerry loved playing the drums or any sort of instrument music was a big part of life. He loved working on car’s and traveling and driving was a must for Jerry when traveling. When he wasn’t working on cars or traveling Jerry enjoyed hanging out and reminiscing, spending time with his children and his grandchild (Nathan Jr.) was the MOST favorite part of his life, Jerry lived for his kids. There was not a thing in this world he wouldn’t try at least once. Jerry always said, “you live and let live and always forgive. Keep on keeping on.”  Though Jerry is gone all to soon he will live on in our hearts, and our many memories.

Jerry leaves to cherish his forever memory, his family. Four children; Julie, Denise, Nathan, and Tayla, a grandson Nathan. He also leaves a brother Brian Baker, and a sister Laurie Baker.  Jerry leaves nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents.

The Petkoff family will receive friends on Thursday June 30, 2022, at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI from 12:00 pm until services begin at 2:00 pm. A celebration of Jerry’s life will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday June 30, 2022, at the Hanlin Funeral Home.  The family will honor Jerry’s wishes and cremation will follow the services. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the family.
