Gary Perkins

Gary Warren Perkins of Millington, MI passed from our world in God’s Kingdom on his father’s birthday July 6, 2022, at the age of 46.

Gary was the son of Esther (Boyd) and the late Warren Perkins and was born on July 26, 1975, in Flint, Michigan.  Gary was a graduate from Millington High School class of 1994. He then went on to Northwestern University in Lima,Ohio to complete his associates degree in auto mechanics and became a Master Mechanic.  He worked for Chrysler at the proving grounds as a dyno technician.  He test drove concept cars to test them.
In 2008 he started his own business, Honest Auto Repair doing mechanic work and fabrication.  He went on to Morley in 2012 as a technologist advisor troubleshooting difficult auto problems for dealers. The things Gary loved to do is take care of his cats, finding bigfoot and he loved fixing things and tinkering in the garage.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Esther; children: Kyle J. Burks, James A Bognar, Zachary L. Bognar, Elizabeth M. Bognar, Jenett L Bognar, Dallys Alexa Perkins; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Besides his father, Gary is also preceded in death by uncles, Laverne and Russ; aunts, Sharon, Berneice, Bonnie and Peg.

Friends may call at the Millington United Methodist Church [ 9020 State Rd.] on Saturday July 9, 2022, beginning at 9:00 am for a time of visitation with the family. Funeral services for Gary will begin at 11:00am, with a private burial to follow at the Millington Township Cemetery. There will be lunch at the church.
