Fredric (Fred) Redfield

Mr. Fredric (Fred) Redfield, long time Millington resident passed away early Tuesday morning December 8, 2020 at the age of 78.

Fred was born in Flint, Michigan on May 5, 1942 and was the son of the late Fredric & Mildred Redfield. After graduation Fred served our country during the Vietnam war in the US-Airforce. When he returned from the Air Force, he became a truck driver. Fred was an over the road driver for 45 plus years.  He loved working on old cars and restoring them. There was hardly a time when you went by the house, he was not out in the garage working on a car, and there was always a car in the yard for sale. Warm summer evenings it was not uncommon to see Fred and his fiancé’ Jeannette setting on the porch.

Fred leaves his fiancé’ Jeannette Ferred; his family Tracy, Fred, John, and Shawn, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, other extended family and friends.

The family has honored Fred’s request, and cremation has taken place.  You’re welcome to make a memorial gift of remembrance to a charity of your choice.
