Flora M. Weber

Ms. Flora M. Weber, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at her home.

Flora was born in Millington, Michigan, on May 28, 1938, to parents Alvin & Ida (née Petzold) Weber. She was raised alongside her siblings Ruth, Linda, Arthur, and Erwin. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a lifelong member. Flora loved to sing, especially along with the music during church services. Further, she enjoyed puzzles, coloring, flowers, and animals. She liked to shop and go out to eat with her family and friends. Above all, Flora loved the time spent with her family.

Flora is survived by her sister, Ruth Schiefer; sister-in-law, Loretta Weber; 13 nieces & nephews; many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews; as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin & Ida Weber; brothers, Erwin Weber, Art Weber, and an infant brother; sister, Linda Rohde; sister-in-law, Ilene Weber; brothers-in-law, Arnold Schiefer, and Richard Rohde; niece, Donna Schmitzer; nephew-in-law, Clayton Damm; as well as an infant niece and nephew.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Flora’s caregivers and friends at Fulton Residential Adult Foster Care Home in Cass City and the staff of Compassus Hospice Care.

Donations in Flora’s memory may be directed to either St. Paul Lutheran Church, Millington; or Fulton Residential; or Compassus Hospice.

Funeral services for Flora will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington. Visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Jim Bruner will preside. Interment to follow in Millington Township Cemetery.
