Elsie (McDonald) Arnott

Mrs. Elsie C. Arnott of Flint, Michigan formerly of Millington, Mi passed away early Sunday morning June 26, 2022, at the age of 91.

Elsie was born in Hazel Park, Michigan on June 22, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Lachlan and Agnes McDonald.  As a youngster she grew up in the Caro, Michigan area and graduated from Caro High School. On August 11, 1951, she married George Arnott and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage before George passed away in March of 2009. Besides her husband and parents Elsie is also preceded in death by a son Thomas and two sisters. Elsie and George loved riding their ATV’s and their motorcycle. They were both active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Elsie leaves her sons, George and Ronald Arnott, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a brother Lachlan McDonald, as well as other family, extended family, and friends.

Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Friday July 1, 2022 beginning at 12:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with the burial to follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.  Memorial gifts of remembrance in lieu of flowers can be directed to a charity of one’s choice.  Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Arnott family with the services.
