Dorothy (Weible) Taylor

Mrs. Dorothy (Weible) Taylor of Otter Lake, MI passed away Friday December 10, 2021, at the age of 95

Dorothy was born August 31, 1926, in Flint Michigan and was the daughter of the late Ralph & Mable (Gordon) Weible. On June 12, 1970, Dorothy married Donald Taylor, and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage before Don passed away in May of 2020. Dorothy (Mom) was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, and friend to anyone who needed love, prayer, and even a song. She loved God, her children, and her many grandchildren with her whole heart and soul.  She was a friend to anyone who needed one and many times welcomed them as family.

Dorothy leaves her family. Her children; Jerry (Darlene) Baggett, Janice Baggett, Deborah (Michael) D’Aigle, Bethany Saunders, Douglas Taylor, Denise (Ted) Taylor, and Wes (Lisa) Taylor. Several grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Besides her parents, and husband Dorothy is also preceded in death by two sons: Steve and Jerry Taylor, a sister Joyce Weible, and two brothers; Douglas Weible and Ralph Weible Jr.

The Taylor family will receive friends on Friday December 17, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI. The celebration of Dorothy’s life will begin at 1:00 pm. The family will honor Dorothy’s request and cremation will follow the services. There will be a private urn burial later at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, where she will be at rest with her husband Donald Taylor.
