David "Tyke" Dick

David Lee Dick “Tyke” passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020. He was 59.

David was born on January 4, 1961 to the late David and the late Leola Dick. David was an active member at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Vassar, MI. Further, Tyke was an avid hunter, fisher, skeet shooter,trapper, and always loved keeping a great garden. Among lots of things one of his favorite hobbies was playing Santa for all the kids at Christmas. He was involved in a bowling league and an active member of the Richville Conservation Club.

David is forever loved by his sister Charlene Dick. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends and many hunting buddies.

In lieu of flowers, gifts of remembrance in Tyke’s name may be directed to the family or St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (916 W Huron Ave, Vassar, MI 48768).

The family would like to invite guests who feel comfortable venturing out to Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tyke will be laid to rest at Millington Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Due to current circumstances and in compliance with public safety standards, visitors are permitted to pay their respects to Tyke. However, face coverings must be worn, social distancing rules apply, and no more than 10 individuals are permitted within the building at a time.
