Chris Donald Loveland of Millington passed away Thursday February 21, 2013 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc MI, Chris was 84
Chris was born in Mt. Morris MI on July the 3, 1928 and was the son of the late Harry L. & Sophie (Frieberg) Loveland. Chris served our country by serving two tours of duty in the US-Navy. On June 21st of 1952 Chris married Miss Juanita Mireles, and together he and Juanita celebrated 57 years of marriage before her passing in June of 2009. Chris retired in 1992 from General Motors after 36 years of employment as a Facility Engineer. Chris also served his community of Millington by serving several terms on the Millington Board of Education, served on the Millington Twp. Board, also served on the Library Board, Chris Umpired for baseball, and softball. He was also a Boy Scout Leader, a member of Millington Lions Club, and served as a volunteer for the Millington Community Center.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory his seven children, Camille Bryan, Sharon & George Ortiz, Dale & Tammy Loveland, Michael & Connie Loveland, Greg Loveland, Dianna Thoms, and David & Michelle Loveland, 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Chris also leaves a sister Alta Spencer, and a brother in-law Carlos Mireles, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday February 27, 2013 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington.
Chris was buried with full Military Honors at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
