Charles Becker

Charles A. (Charlie) Becker of the Tawas - Sage Lake Michigan areas formerly of Millington, passed away Saturday October 18, 2014 while at the Tender Care Rehabilitation Center of Tawas Michigan, Charlie was 74.

Charlie was born on February 19, of 1940 in Harrisville, Michigan and was the son of the late John and Ella (Dates) Becker. Charlie retired out of the Buick Motor Division of General Motors with 40 years of employment. As a young man he served our country in the US-Marines. On February 14 of 1979 Charlie married the former Sandy Szabo, and together he and Sandy have celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Charlie leaves his wife Sandy, two children; son Tim Becker, a daughter Shannon & husband Dennis Hank, he leaves a granddaughter Dyani Stewart. Charlie also leaves his extended family, Kori &Bob Sherman, Paula Szabo, Sherry & husband Tim Berlin, Lori & husband Frank Indish, and Tim & Susan Szabo, two sisters, Nancy and Barbie, two brothers, Ed and Grant Becker, as well as several extended grandchildren and other family.

Funeral services were at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Saturday October25, 2014. The family has honored Charlies wish and cremation followed the services. A private burial of his urn will take place at a later date.
