Carol (Edwards) Saeger

Mrs. Carol V. (Edwards) Saeger of Millington, Michigan passed away Thursday December 12, 2019 at the age of 83.

Carol was born in Mt. Morris, Michigan on April 17, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Arlie and Beatrice (Creamer) Edwards. On April 7, 1956 Carol married Rudolph (Rudy) Saeger and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage before Rudy passed away in February of 2017. Carol retired from the Frankenmuth Insurance Agency after 14 years as a file clerk. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Millington.

Carol leaves her family to cherish her memory. Daughters; Lori (Kerry) Penland, Leigh (Tom) Ziegler. She leaves also six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a son in-law Greg Mohr, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Besides her husband and parents Carol is also preceded in death by a daughter; Lynn (Saeger) Mohr, two sisters; Donna Ames, and Cleda Norton, and other extended family.

The Saeger family will receive friends for a time of sharing and celebrating Carols life, at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Saturday January 11, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.  Memorial gifts of remembrances can be directed to charity of one’s choice. The Sager family would like to express their great appreciation to the staff at Maple Woods Manor in Clio, Michigan for the care that was given to their mom during her time there.
