Barbara Ellen Sizemore, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born in Flint on November 1, 1949, to parents Edward & Elsie (Routhier) Jones. She was one of six children and graduated from Beecher High School. Barbara met the love of her life, Michael Sizemore Sr., and they were married on November 19, 1966. Together they raised their three sons and shared 39 years of marriage before Michael’s passing in 2005. Barbara was a beautician for over 30 years and spent 17 years with the Cutting Edge Salon in Millington. She loved to travel, especially trips to Florida. Above all, Barbara loved and was deeply devoted to her family.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Christine) Sizemore, Jr., Jeff (Monica) Sizemore, Jason (Joelee) Sizemore; grandchildren: Haylee, Allyson, Quin, Ellery, Gianna, and Easton; sisters, Lois Jesiek and Janice Saunders; brother, Rodney Jones; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike; her parents; and siblings, Edward Duane Jones and Bonnie Smith.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, private arrangements have been made.
