Anthony "Tony" R. Willey

Mr. Anthony "Tony" R. Willey, Millington, Michigan passed away early Friday evening December 22, 2023, with his family at his side. Tony was 75.

Tony was born in Frankfort, Michigan on December 3, 1948, and was the son of James and Geraldine (MaryAnn Hayes) Willey. Tony worked as a die-setter for General Motors and retired with 36 years of service with GM. Tony also drilled bowling balls since 1984 in his home pro-shop, A&A Bowling Equipment.

Tony loved bowling, golfing, hunting, and fishing. His real passion was time with his family. As a young man he served our country in the U.S. Army, serving a tour in Vietnam.

On June 19, 1971, Tony married Miss Rebecca Whitlock, and together they have celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Becky; their two children, Tony (Casey) Willey II, and Angie (Brian) Smithwick; 6 grandchildren: Sydney Willey, Carly Willey, Alexa Smithwick, Cade Smithwick, Alivia Smithwick, and Dany Smithwick; his mother, Mrs. Geraldine (MaryAnn) Willey; three brothers and a sister-in-law: Thomas Willey, Robert (Vi) Willey, and Jerry Willey; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, James, and two sisters-in-law, Patsy, and Susan.

The family has honored Tony's wish and cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. Please check back often for details.
