Almeron Harback Jr.

Mr. Almeron Harback Jr. of Millington, MI passed away Saturday February 22, 2020 at the age of 78. Almeron was born here in Millington, MI on December 27, 1941 and was the son of the late Almeron & Pearl Harback Sr.

Almeron grew up here in Millington and graduated from Millington High School Class of 1960. On Nov. 16, 1963 he married Miss Vera Roebuck and together they have celebrated 56 years of marriage.  Almeron for 12 years owned and operated his barber shop in Frankenmuth MI. Almeron also retired from General Motors after 26 years of service.  Almeron was also a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge of Birch Run #514.

Almeron leaves his wife Vera B. Roebuck Harback. He also leaves children Tracy (Dale) Harback Mercer, Almeron Harback 3rd, and Kari (Joseph) Harback Klein. Almeron also leaves grandchildren Patrick Mercer, Shaun Mercer, Amanda Harback, Emily Harback, Kayla Harback, Kyle Klein, Kody Klein and Kameron Klein. Almeron also leaves his sibling June Harback Bierlein, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Almeron was preceded in death by his sister Naomi Harback Laux, granddaughter Kassandra JoLene Klein, and nephew Mark Laux.

The family has honored Almeron and cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday February 29. 2020 at 11:00 am at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI. The Harback family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am.  A memorial dinner will follow at the VFW Hall, Birch Run, Mi. 48415.
