Alma "Dolly" M. Withers

Alma "Dolly" May Withers, 94, died peacefully at home on Sunday, September 10, 2023, surrounded by her daughters.

Dolly was born in Austin, Texas, on July 3, 1929. Dolly enjoyed watching the birds tending to her gardens and flowers. Further, she had an interest in astrology and crystals. She also enjoyed thrifting. Above all, Dolly loved her family and being a grandma to her grandchildren. Her loving ways and laughter will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters: Andrea McIntyre, Connie Fall, twins Carolyn (Paul) Jones & Karen (Doug) Volpp, Charlene (Jon) Blaisus, and Mellicha Ferrier; over 60 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Cathy McIntyre; special friend, Marion "Pinky" Marsh.

Dolly is preceded in death by two sons, Michael McIntyre and Jack McIntyre; two sons-in-law, Doug Karr and Rick Fall; and grandson, J.J. McIntyre.

Dolly's family will welcome visitors to Hanlin Funeral Home - Vassar on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services for Dolly will be at noon on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the funeral home; additional visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Following Dolly's funeral, a luncheon will be held at Gather (340 S. Main Street, Vassar, MI 48768).
